Briefly about the general area: Gilman Beach is in the vicinity of Shin Brook River and is a beautiful beach to stop at, and if the weather is good, you
can go for a hike along the Jerry Pond Tote Road. Don't leave Shin Brook River without first paying a visit to Shin Falls. On a delightful day at Shin Brook River you can take a hike along the American Thread Company Road;
you should undeniably stop at Grand Pitch while here. Shin Brook River gets a common amount of yearly rainfall. July is when you get the most rain here; February is the month with the least moisture.
