  This stretch of Fifteen Mile Creek in Maryland is 9.5 miles long and it is classified as a class I-II(III) section by American Whitewater. The average Maryland whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many runs in this state are very easy.     a road map further down the page with more info on that. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. There's camping available near Fifteen Mile Creek. The nature scenery
of Allegany County and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. The US Route 40 to Potomac River stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that. On this section you do get some distance, suitable for an afternoon trip.

It's always good to visit Robert Milborn Spring; a tour to Cacapon State Park revives the soul. The surroundings of this river have so much to offer. While you're here at Fifteen Mile Creek you can take a hike along the Heifer Lick Trail, and you'll meet a lot of people from Little Orleans here. Summertime at Fifteen Mile Creek arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Fifteen Mile Creek temperatures plunge to the 10's.
