State Forest revives the spirit, and Berkshire East has nice slopes and a friendly staff. This is a great river. Deerfield River is right by the Busby Trail, and Mohawk Trail State Forest is a great place. Deerfield River
is a good spot of normal precipitation. The month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is mostly the driest month. Through the summertime months highs here at Deerfield River get into the 70's.
