Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so you'd better keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. This section
    of Quaboag River is 5.5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-IV section of whitewater. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. You
can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The Warren to Route 67 stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with not too many other places for that.

Briefly about the general area:
Wells State Park is both good and scenic, and it's near Quaboag River, and the
slopes of Pine Ridge are so inviting noone can resist. You positively must have a look at Streeter Point Recreation Area if you're here at Quaboag River, and there are plenty of folks from Warren here. If you come to this river you will have a good time for sure. Quaboag River is a wet place that gets lots of rain. During May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. High temperatures at Quaboag River throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are mostly in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Quaboag River during the winter commonly descend into the 10's.
