The logging road to Presque Isle section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. Briefly about the general area: A short visit to Abinodji Falls is always worthwhile, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Rainbow Falls Trail. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Gogebic Range. Ogima Falls is a charming location to take a look at while you're at Copper Creek. Porcupine Mountains State Park is a great site, and if you're dropping by from Wakefield, you won't be the only one.
