Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so you'd better keep in mind that quite a few of the sections in this state are pretty easy. This stretch of Silver River in Michigan is 4.2 miles long and is a class III-IV+(V) section of whitewater according     to American Whitewater. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. Silver Falls is an inspiring spot to pop by during your stay, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Lanse here. This river is so good. All through the long summer days highs here at Silver River reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's.
