Briefly about the general area: Don't leave Slate River without
first paying a visit to Slate River Falls, and nearby you locate Snug Harbor. Craig Lake State Park is a splendid site; a day at delightful Second Sand Beach near Slate River is a nice thing to do. At this river you will
never have a bad time. You're sure to run into some wonderful folks from Skanee here. At Slate River through the summertime months highs are in the 70's.
