On a glorious day at Vermilion River you can take a hike along the Canfield Portage. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Vermilion River. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's.
The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Vermilion River plunge into the-20's.
