This section of Flathead River - Middle Fork is 9 miles long and is a class III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master in this state than those in other states, so keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding. Briefly about the general area:
Go for a hike on the Ousel Peak Trail; a tour to Glacier National Park is worthwhile. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more fun things to do here in the Lewis Range. Going for a hike on the South Boundary
Trail is always a great adventure, and Flathead River - Middle Fork is a place with many visitors from West Glacier. If you come to this river you will have a good time for sure.
