Gallatin county, Greek Creek to Spanish Creek section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.

CLASS II-IV     13 miles
If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Montana you might find the rivers here a bit more manageable, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many runs in this state are very easy. The scenic beauty of Gallatin County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream will make you feel great. The Greek Creek to Spanish Creek section of Gallatin River is 13 miles long and is a class II-IV section of whitewater
according to American Whitewater. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good places for that around here. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so pack your camping stuff. There
are many good hotels to choose from, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. If you're coming from Bozeman it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.
