can take a hike along the Sandstone Ridge Trail, and Beavertail Hill State Park is worth going to. This river has so much to offer. Not much rain falls here at Rock Creek. May is the wettest month with most rain; October
is when it's the driest. At Rock Creek all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's.
