  The Middle and West Fork confluence to Clark Fork River stretch of Rock Creek in Montana is 50 miles long and is a class II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers in this state are not as hard as elsewhere. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short
    distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Now this is a pretty long section, perfect for a real wilderness adventure.
The nature scenery of Montana and the cool fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you won't find many other paddling rivers. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Middle and West Fork confluence to Clark Fork  
River stretch is one of them.

Briefly about the general area:
Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Ranch Creek Trail; naturally, A visit to Cub Gulch is always fun. While you're here at Rock Creek you can take a hike along the Sandstone Ridge Trail, and Beavertail Hill State Park is worth going to. This river has so much to offer. Not much rain falls here at Rock Creek. May is the wettest month with most rain; October is when it's the driest. At Rock Creek all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's.
