Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. The Gardiner to Miner section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers.
Briefly about the general area: A trip to Yellowstone National Park is recommended; Yellowstone River is right by
the Pole Gulch Trail. Yellowstone River is a place with many visitors from Emigrant, and hiking along the Sportsman Lake Trail is good fun. At this river you will never have a bad time.
