  The wonderful Elko County scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a pretty small number of paddling rivers.
    The put-in location is a short drive from Elko, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The campgrounds here at Jarbridge River - East Fork are pretty good. The to Murphy Hot
Springs Idaho section is the only paddling section along Jarbridge River - East Fork. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
