Nevada whitewater, Owyhee River - South Fork

to Idaho section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.

CLASS II-III+     34 miles
This section of Owyhee River - South Fork in -blank- County is 34 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-III+ section. The natural beauty of -blank- County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. A stretch of this length does require some preparations, so better bring your camping gear along. The nearby hotels are a bit away from
the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often
easier than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a lot of the rivers in this state are suitable for beginners. This is the only paddling section along Owyhee River - South Fork.
