If you fancy a little side visit, try Rye Ledge; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Jenress Beach. This river is a great place to visit. A nice place like Vaughan Woods Memorial State Park right next door to Atlantic Ocean is too good to leave out; a tour to nearby Lockes Neck is very relaxing. You'll meet a lot of people from Rye here. At Atlantic Ocean during the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's.
