  The scenic beauty of Coos County and the water flowing gracefully down Diamond River have people coming here. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Berlin, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. The Swift Diamond to Wentworth Location section of Diamond River in New Hampshire is 5 miles long and
    has been rated as a class III-IV section by American Whitewater. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the Swift Diamond to Wentworth Location section is one of them. If you've been whitewater rafting and
kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so you'd better keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The campgrounds here at Diamond River are pretty good. The White Mountains scenery is wonderful. This is a pretty decent length section,  
you can easily run it on an afternoon. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling spots.

Briefly about the general area:
A spree to Dart Wentworth Spring will fill your soul with good feelings. The Old Magalloway Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close to Diamond River, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Errol. Lots of fun awaits you along this river. Don't leave Diamond River without first checking out Alice Ledge. Dixville Notch State Park is worth a visit if you're at Diamond River, and what would a location like Diamond River be without out of the ordinary close by traits like Linda Ledge.
