Briefly about the general area: Wellington State Beach is a fine spot to check out on a wonderful day, and don't leave Fowler River without first going for a hike along the Melton Falls Trail. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the White Mountains. You absolutely must stop by Cardigan State Park while you're here at Fowler River; you simply should pop by Simmons Ledges since you're here at Fowler River. The surroundings of this river have so much to offer. During your journey to Fowler River you'll meet some folks from Hebron for sure, and there's great hiking along the Manning Trail.
