You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so you'd     better keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This is a bit of a short stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others   too. Briefly about the general area: The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Whaleback. Don't leave Mascoma River without dropping by Quechee State Park; there are plenty of folks from Lebanon here at Mascoma River. If you come to this river you will have a good time for sure. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Clark Pond Loop. Hiking along the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail is pleasant fun.
