The put-in is not too far from Trenton-Ewing, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The beautiful scenery of New Jersey and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything. This
    stretch has has enough mileage, you can easily run it on an afternoon. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. This section of Lamington River is 5.8 miles long and it
is classified as a class II-III(IV) section by American Whitewater. There's camping available near Lamington River. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good places for that around here. The  
rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in New Jersey are often easier than in other states, so better not forget that the rivers in this state are less demanding.

Briefly about the general area:
Potters Falls is always fun to check out, and folks from Pottersville love to come here. The high level of precipitation makes Lamington River a relatively wet site. August is the wettest month with most rain while February is frequently the driest month. Through the long summer days at Lamington River temperatures are typically in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's.
