The Atencio Canyon to Los Pinos stretch of Rio de los Pinos in New Mexico is 12 miles long and is a class II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. There's camping available near Rio de los Pinos. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. |

about the general area: There are plenty of people from Antonito here at Rio de los Pinos; there are perfect locations to look at along the Spruce Hole Trail. This location, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, has so much
outdoors enjoyable things. Around Rio de los Pinos you don’t get a lot of rain. The month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while January is generally the driest month.
