you're all set. The starting location is a short drive from Kingston, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The beautiful Catskill Mountains scenery is an added bonus. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good rivers for that around here. people coming from far and near. The Swinging Bridge to Route 23-A bridge section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system.

Briefly about the general area:
While staying at Batavia Kill River you could always discover Sutton Hollow; everyone close by loves skiing at Windham Mountain. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Catskill Mountains. Going for a hike on the Spruceton Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Max V. Shaul State Park is a magnificent spot to explore on a delightful day; there are plenty of folks from Prattsville here at Batavia Kill River.
