Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in New York tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. This section of Beecher Creek in New York is 2.5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-V section of whitewater. There are campgrounds quite near the river where     you can camp. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. This section is quite short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. The natural beauty of Saratoga County and the water flowing gracefully down Beecher Creek have people coming here. The Airport Road to Great Sacandaga Lake stretch is the only paddling stretch   along Beecher Creek. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is wonderful. Briefly about the general area: Beecher Creek is a place with many visitors from Northville, and great hiking is available along the Oregon Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Adirondack Mountains has to offer.
