This is a bit of a short stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons     to come. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but if you don’t have   reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Highs all through the wintertime are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mohawk River.
