The nature scenery of New York and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This section of Ninemile Creek is 6 miles long and it is classified as a class II section by American Whitewater. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Feeder Canal to Stittville section is one of them. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. Briefly about   the general area: People from Stittville love to come to Ninemile Creek, and Woods Valley is a very popular ski area around here. Pixley Falls State Park is a great location to go if you're at Ninemile Creek, and if you're looking for a glorious trip, Fort Stanwix National Monument is pretty near. At this river you will always have a good time. Everybody loves Delta Lake State Park. Ninemile Creek regularly gets a great deal of precipitation. November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. For the period of the summertime here at Ninemile Creek, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's.
