| will have you coming back for more. This is a bit of a short stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. The campgrounds here at Oatka Creek are pretty good. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the Leroy to Fort Hill section is one of them. but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
Briefly about the general area: A trip to Buttermilk Falls will fill
your soul with glorious feelings; the smiling people of Le Roy like to hang out nearby. From a rainfall point of view Oatka Creek is a quite common location. The month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and
January meanwhile is the driest month. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Oatka Creek get into the 80's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, typically in the 50's.
