New York whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy.
Briefly about the general
area: The Willow Trail offers hiking at its best; hey, Gotta ski right? Hunter Mountain is a magnificent spot to do that. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Catskill Mountains. Why not take a refreshing
hike along the Phoenicia Trail, and if you're going to from Woodstock, you won't be the only one. If you come to this river you will have a good time for sure.
