There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you
come because it is a very popular destination. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This is a pretty short section so better bring some good walking shoes. Getting a good workout and spending some
quality time in nature will have you coming back for more. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. The scenic beauty of Tompkins County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you
feel great.
