Briefly about the general area: A trip to Buckhorn Creek wouldn’t be complete without a spree to close by Jordan Lake State Park, and there are plenty of people from Broadway
here. Raven Rock State Park is worth taking a look at if you're at Buckhorn Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Lanier Falls Trail. This river has it all. Don't leave Buckhorn Creek without first going for a hike along
the Campbell Creek Loop. The high level of precipitation makes Buckhorn Creek a reasonably wet spot. The month with most of the rain is May; September is the month with the least moisture.
