Briefly about the general area: You'll meet a lot of folks from
Timberlake here, and you positively should take a look at Eno River State Park if you're here. For the period of the warm months at Flat River highs are mostly in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
Through the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Flat River are in the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Flat River a wet place.
