Whitewater rafting and kayaking in North Carolina is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a lot of the rivers in this state are suitable for beginners. The Triple Falls stretch of Little River in Transylvania County is 0.75 miles long and it is classified as a class     V+ section by American Whitewater. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. This is an extremely short stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The beautiful scenery of North Carolina and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything. This is not the only paddling section in this   river system, there are others too. The campgrounds here at Little River are pretty good. Whitewater paddling here in the Blue Ridge Mountains is a great experience. Briefly about the general area: There's perfect hiking along the Black Mountain Trail; Triple Falls is always fun to check out. That right there is a load of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. At Little River you always meet someone from Pisgah Forest; a short journey to High Falls is always worthwhile. This is such a fun river. Places like Jones Gap State Park are great to stop at; The Nooks is an attention-grabbing thing to make out since you're here.
