Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers in this state are less demanding. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. On this section you do get     some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Briefly about the general area: Nearby Big Buckeye Cove is a pleasant place to go if you're at Pigeon River - Big East Fork, and nice hiking is available along the Art Loeb Trail.
