Guilford county, Route 2732 to North Carolina Route 61 Bridge section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.

CLASS I-II     10.1 miles

Beautiful, but be ready to do a LOT of walking if the water is low. Watch for dam and portage either river left on Rivertrack Rd or right through the yard of an old (privately owned) flour mill. Says Jeb

come because it is a very popular destination. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in North Carolina is often easier than elsewhere, so don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. The beautiful scenery of Guilford County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too.
