Put in's are hard to find. Fun and steep run very fast lots of tree strainers and semi-remote, not road side. narrow creek has many ledge drops one up to 8 feet, blind turns and drops... The starting location is a reasonable drive     from Cincinnati-Middletown, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Ohio are easier than the national norm, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the rivers in this state are not very demanding. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. There are some good hotels near the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The Brushy Fork Road to Stonelick Creek section of Brushy Fork in Clermont County is 2 miles long   and is a class II-III(IV) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This is a somewhat short section so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good spots for that around here. Briefly about the general area: People from Owensville love to come to Brushy Fork, and a visit to Stonelick State Park revitalizes the spirit. While you're here at Brushy Fork you can take a hike along the Beechtree Trail, and East Fork State Park is a glorious place to take a look at.
