Says John Doe The Rt. 82 to Brecksville Reservation stretch of Chippewa Creek in Ohio is 1.65 miles long and is a class V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Ohio tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers in this state are not     as hard as elsewhere. This is a pretty short section so no need to bring snacks. The wonderful Ohio scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Chippewa Creek have people coming here. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Rt. 82 to Brecksville Reservation section is one of them. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. The starting location is a short drive from Cleveland-Elyria-Mentor, as you can see on the road map further down. No shortage of good hotels, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Whether you're whitewater rafting   or kayaking this is an area with plenty of places for that. Do pay a visit to Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area while you're here at Chippewa Creek; the smiling folks of Brecksville like to hang out nearby. This river is a wonderful place to visit. A visit to Cleveland Lakefront State Park when you're here at Chippewa Creek is never a bad idea; Perkins Beach is a beach nearby that you can pop by. Head up to Boston Mills and strap some skis to your feet.
