Briefly about the general area: If the weather is good here at Hocking River, you can go for a hike along
the Sassafras Horse Trail. A.W. Marion State Park is a perfect place to stretch your legs a bit, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Five Oaks Trail. Lots of fun awaits you along this river. You're sure to
bump into some good folks from Carroll here. Hocking River gets a normal amount of annual rainfall. The month with most of the rain is May; February is when it's the driest.
