The put-in is not too far from East Liverpool-Salem, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The scenic beauty of Ohio and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non     stop paddle, good for a one day paddling trip. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Ohio are easier than the national norm, so don't forget that a lot of the rivers in this state are suitable for beginners. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good rivers for that around here. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This is not the only paddling section in this river system, there are others too. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. Briefly about the general area: Little Beaver Creek is right by the Gretchens   Lock Trail, and when you're here it's always fun to go to Beaver Creek State Park. This is a popular spot for folks from East Liverpool, and the Fishermans Trail offers hiking at its best. This is such a wonderful river. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Little Beaver Creek. July is when you get the most rain here, and January is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Little Beaver Creek during the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 30's while Little Beaver Creek overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
