This stretch of Sandusky River is 3.5 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class II-III section. Since you're on this     site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way in this general area you won't find many other paddling places. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. The natural beauty of Ohio and the cool fresh water attract people from near and far. This stretch is short so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
