The scenic beauty of Cuyahoga County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. This stretch is mid length,     suitable for an afternoon trip. This section of Tinker's Creek is 4.65 miles long and is a class IV-V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Pleasant Valley to Tinker's reservation section is one of them. The put-in is not too far from Cleveland-Elyria-Mentor, as you can see on the road map further down. No need to look hard for hotels, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Briefly about the general area: A spree to Cleveland Lakefront State Park when you're here at Tinker's Creek   is a good idea, and Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is a very glorious place to stop at. Nothing beats kicking back at Perkins Beach, and Brandywine has good slopes and a friendly staff. This is a great river. A short spree to Bridal Veil Falls is always worthwhile, and stopping by Tinker's Creek State Park is a splendid thing to do. A tour to Tinker's Creek wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Great Falls. You're sure to encounter some friendly folks from Bedford here. During the days of summer at Tinker's Creek highs are frequently in the 80's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, typically in the 60's.
