If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Oklahoma you might find the rivers here     a bit more manageable, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers in this state are not as hard as elsewhere. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are not so many other good spots for that around here. The campgrounds here at Blue River are pretty good. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. On this section   you do get some distance, it's good length for a morning trip.
