If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Oklahoma you might find the rivers here
a bit more manageable, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers in this state are not as hard as elsewhere. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you donít have reservations
you might end up sleeping in your car. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are not so many other good spots for that around here. you do get some distance, it's good length for a morning trip. This section of Blue River in Oklahoma is 9.5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-III section of whitewater.
