The posted information suggests the private take outs listed by name and GPS coordinates are available to use by request, this is not the case. One of the take outs is gated, locked and heavily posted with conspicuous no trespassing signs and the     other is a private collection of cabins having no interest in public access by favor or fee. Phone numbers for each location are no longer in service or are unattended. Persons wishing to float the one mile section of Flint Creek your site describes must be prepared to continue six additional miles on the Illinois River to the next available public access at Chewey Bridge.
