The Low Water Bridge by Peggs stretch of Spring Creek in Cherokee County is 0 miles long and it is classified as a class II section by American Whitewater. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Tahlequah, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you wonít get lost. The beautiful
    scenery of Oklahoma and the cool fresh water attract people from near and far. The Ozarks scenery is wonderful. There's camping available near Spring Creek. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be
more forgiving than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that quite a few of the sections in this state are pretty easy. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. There are no other stretches to paddle along Spring Creek than the Low Water Bridge by Peggs stretch. This stretch is very short so no need to bring snacks. Great  
exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you donít have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.

Briefly about the general area:
Spring Creek is a spot with many visitors from Locust Grove It's always fine to pop by Cave Spring. These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting things to do in the Ozarks. Near Spring Creek you stumble on Dry Hollow which is a good site to stop at. Spring Creek gets a lot of water.
