The wonderful Oregon scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Collawash River make the trip here worthwhile. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Oregon are often tougher
than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. This is a pretty decent length section, suitable for an afternoon
trip. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Mile 5.5 bridge to Two Rivers Picnic Area stretch is one of them. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. A bit of exercise and just
hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. Whitewater paddling here in the Central Cascade Range is a great experience.
