The nature scenery of Oregon and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This stretch of Deschutes River in Oregon is 18 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I-V section. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. There are many good hotels to choose from, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Great exercise |

The wild scenery of the Central Cascade Range is great. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here. Area near Deschutes River is a pleasant thing to do; Deschutes River is a place with many visitors from Bend. This river is so good. Throughout the warm months at Deschutes River temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and
through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs all through the wintertime are frequently in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Deschutes River descend into the 10's.
