The Dee to bridge Below Tucker Park stretch of Hood River - East Fork in Hood River County is 7.5 miles long and has been rated as a class III-IV section by American Whitewater. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you   make reservations in advance you're all set. If you're coming from Hood River it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, as you can see on the road map further down. Briefly about the general area: What would winter be without some skiing at Cooper Spur; nearby you discover the Lamberson Butte Spur Trail which is a good hiking trail. Having a good time in the Central Cascade Range is uncomplicated. While you're here at Hood River - East Fork you will meet lots of people from nearby Hood River; the Dog River Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by. This river is so good.
