There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. This section is     long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. This stretch of Jordan Creek is 6.5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class III+(IV) section of whitewater. The wild scenery of the Coast Ranges is great. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great   attractions for lots of people. Briefly about the general area: The high level of rainfall makes Jordan Creek a rather wet spot. Most of the rain falls through December, and the driest month is August. During the warm days of summer at Jordan Creek temperatures are typically in the 60's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Jordan Creek.
