coming back for more. The JC Boyle Dam to Powerhouse section of Klamath River is 5 miles long and is a class IV+ section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. This stretch is mid length, you can easily run it on
| an afternoon. When you're paddling down a Southern Cascade Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a pretty small number of paddling places. general area: You simply should stop by Big Bend if you're here at Klamath River; at Klamath River you always meet someone from Keno. So many enjoyable things to do in the Southern Cascade Range, not sufficient time.
Have a good hiking adventure along the South Pass Lake Trail, and going for a hike along the Moss Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
