  If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so better not forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. The wonderful Clackamas County scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people
    coming here. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. A bit of exercise and just
hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. The Table Rock Fork to Glen Avon Bridge stretch of Molalla River in Oregon is 13 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-IV section of whitewater.

Molalla River is not far at all from Mulino; going for a hike on the Pine Crest Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Mary S. Young State Park is a picturesque place any time of year, and Molalla River State Park is a pleasant place to visit. This river has so much to offer. Molalla River is a good place of normal rainfall. During December this area sees the most rain while July is typically the driest month. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Molalla River with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Molalla River all through the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 30's.
