Briefly about the general   area: Molalla River is not far at all from Mulino; going for a hike on the Pine Crest Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Mary S. Young State Park is a picturesque place any time of year, and Molalla River State Park is a pleasant place to visit. This river has so much to offer. Molalla River is a good place of normal rainfall. During December this area sees the most rain while July is typically the driest month. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Molalla River with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Molalla River all through the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 30's.
