The natural beauty of Clackamas County and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The starting point is not too far from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. | willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Oregon are harder than the national norm, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less manageable. Briefly about the general area: Go for a hike on the Pine Crest Trail, and Milo McIver State
Park is a great site. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Don't leave Mollala River - North Fork without first going for a hike along the High Camp Trail.
While you're here at Mollala River - North Fork you will meet lots of folks from close by Colton. A trip to Bonnie Lure State Park revitalizes the spirit.
