Briefly about the general area:
Steamboat Falls is a wonderful local attraction, and you definitely have to go to Clyde Holliday State Park if you're here. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Central Cascade Range rules! Take a hike on the
Deception Way, and hiking along the Panther Trail is tremendous fun. If you come to this river you will have a good time for sure. Through the days of summer highs here at Steamboat Creek reach the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's.
