The beautiful scenery of Wasco County and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. The Keeps Mill to Victor Road Bridge stretch of White River in Oregon is     12 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class III-IV section of whitewater. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Whitewater paddling here in the Central Cascade Range is a great experience. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good places. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging,   so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. You can enjoy this section more if you take your time, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. Briefly about the general area: Why not take a refreshing hike along the Little Badger Creek Trail; a tour to Washburn Spring will fill your spirit with great feelings. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Central Cascade Range. A tremendous location in the neighborhood of White River is North Fork Hazel Hollow; you'll meet a lot of people from Maupin here. This is a great river.
